Everyone who has a dog has surely been in a situation where he or she has simply run out of food for his or dog. It is normal, it is enough to go somewhere and forget to take something. However, what to do when your dog looks at you with those mournful eyes, which say that it has not eaten all day? What to do in such a situation? What a dog can eat?

It should be taken into account that dogs normally eat food which is nutritionally complete and balanced to provide the right amount of protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. All of them can be found in meals that are perfectly safe and healthy for your dog.

You should know few things, for example to avoid giving dogs too much fat or sodium, as they may trigger vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation. Another thing is to consider dog’s allergies. Your dog can eat poultry – it should, however, be cooked, skinless, and boneless. Beef in the form of chop meat or beef cubes is also advisable. Moreover, your dog can eat canned meats and veggies, which are well-rinsed and drained to remove the excess of sodium. It can even consume cooked eggs.
